It appears to be a warrior riding a gator, but the artwork is so much more. It was created using a combination of coloring and cuttings. The hidden-meaning defines an era when the artist was fighting for his life. The figure in armor represents courage, while the beast indicates one-with-nature. The shield with the risingsun-emblem' has change from a fleur-dis-lis-- because it's a more modern effect. The scene is in the swamp, and fighting a battle not necessary with an adversary-- but evil in general.
