| Telling the difference between real and fake things-- is half the battle. For instance, gold items come in many shapes and forms-- some authentic others not. The trained-eye can spot purity of a fine-metal, like discoloring of an object and the magnetic-attraction-- means it's just gold-platted. Bad lighting can give off the appearance of something that is real-- but really fake, and vice-versa. One can just tell the quality about something by it's craftsmanship, as 'knock-offs' just look cheap, right? |
