LAKEVIEW STREET PUMPING PROJECT

The Lakeview Street-Pumping project' would be a continuation- of the post-Katrina efforts < to restore the communities' blighted-infrastructure (roads, drains, lights, etc.) . The low-line area's three major roadways (east to west): Harrison Ave., Filmore Ave., and Robert E. Lee Blvd.- would be embedded with mechanical -pipes/pumps < that would run directly into the: 17th Street Canal and New Basin Canal {City Park); as  neighboring-blocks (drainage-lines) < would then be connected- to one of the three' sub-stations (pumps 1-6).
